Heavy-duty groover cuts clean, smooth, professional control joints every time. Uniquely made from quality steel with a broken-in face that won't wear out with extended use like stainless steel. The tool creates a groove in wet cement to control expansion and contraction and relieve stress points. This 12" groover features a bit that has a 1/2" radius and is 1/2" deep. The radius creates a smooth edge to prevent the edge from chipping with wear. The single-piece formed groove provides a smooth professional finish. The closed-end groover bit won't allow material to build up inside for a long-lasting, perfect groove. A 14" wide top plate reinforces the tool and provides additional strength for moving through slabs. A bright red sight guides the user for creating a straight line. A 1" wide bar is centered on the top of the groover for balance and strength. Two studs extend up off of the top plate with a 2-hole single-action clevis bracket (CC659) attached. Use with Clevis Handles, sold separately. Use with a Clevis Handle Adapter for use with bull float extension handles, all sold separately. The heavy-duty tool is painted for a long life.
